    Inorganic nanomembranes can consist of a rich variety of materials including conductors, semiconductors and insulators. Nanomembranes are capable of producing novel quantum, chemical, electrical, optical and mechanical properties in unprecedented ways. Many on-chip and off-chip devices based on an individual, arrays and assembled rolled-up microtubes have been demonstrated. We are working on new optical and thermal properties of 3D nanomembranes.

    If your apartment/home has no central heating system (like in many cities) winters can be horrible. Temperature often drops below zero and windows do not have an efficient double layer insulation from cold outdoor air. Equipped air-conditioning are not particularly useful in heating and just lead to a waste of electricity. We work on new sources of heating as well…
